The SEGA – One Health Network has broadened its scope of action for 2021 by adding operational research to its thematic clusters, in addition to non-communicable diseases (NCDs).
The aim?
- address the issues raised by the various thematic clusters
- enhance international visibility and scientific recognition

of the various players, i.e. research institutions and sectoral ministries: specialities, resources (technical, administrative, financial…), constraints and assets.
Capacity building
in terms of research and setting up research projects.
Monitoring
Setting up a system for monitoring calls for research projects useful on the scale Indian Ocean and aligned with the SEGA – One Health Network’s thematic clusters
